recipe for (temporary) happiness
take a plastic baggie full of M&M's.
drop in a large spoonful of peanut butter.
seal the baggie, and squish the peanut butter around all over the M&M's.
open baggie, and enjoy the goodness within!
(i'd recommend just squeezing the mix out of the bag, but if you prefer to use a spoon, that's fine)

damn
i definitely wasn't ready to sit through a 2-hour lecture on death investigations today.
and the talking about cops, and the guns, and the knives...
it's amazing how everything seems to remind me of Ryan today.
i can't believe he's gone.

goodbye, Ryan
a friend of mine from high school is gone. i'd give a link to the newspaper story, but i hate how it portrays him.
i can't believe that i'll never see him again. it's bizarre. he's not the first person i've known who's died, but every time it's almost like it's never happened before.
i only hope that the cops who shot him felt that they had every reason to. i have to believe this, otherwise i.... i don't know.
this is so surreal. i had a crush on Ryan for a couple of years there in school, and all i can think of is this one time that we talked about a pair of bowling shoes he jacked from a local bowling alley. i remember thinking that was the coolest thing ever.
goodbye, Ryan. i'll miss you

natural sleep? whaaa??
yeah, i've been trying to sleep without meds. i'm trying to decide if it's me actually thinking "yeah! sleep! i can do this, no problem!"..... or if i'm just saying that because i ran out of anything drowsy-inducing a few days back :p
either way, the pattern is that i fall asleep, wake up 2 hours later, then every hour after that.
but it's sleep, right? right???
in other news.... i actually did my homework last night. it was impressive. 3 hours of writing about child abuse. the research was disturbing. if i ever read "fondling buttocks" in regards to a child ever again, i'll throw up.
uhh.... uhh..... yeah, that's it. i'm going to go grade somebody's paper. for fun. how lame am i?
